Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program + **8+ years** of progressive structural engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **Preferred Qualifications:** + **Master’s degree** in Structural Engineering + **12+ years** of progressive experience + Licensed **Professional Engineer (PE)** in Colorado or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months + Demonstrated experience with **IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, TMS 402/602, NDS** + Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software ( **ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural, RISA, SAFE** , or similar) + Experience designing structures using **concrete, steel, masonry, and timber** + Strong background in **wind and seismic lateral systems** , including retrofit of existing structures + Proficiency with **Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office** + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to perform site visits; valid driver’s license required + **Structural Engineer (SE)** license, particularly in high‑seismic regions + Experience with **performance‑based seismic design** and nonlinear analysis + Advanced BIM coordination and Revit modeling experience· + Experience with **aviation, federal, or large commercial projects** + Prior experience in a **team lead, supervisory, or mentoring-heavy role** **Additional Information** + Due to the nature of the work, sponsorship is not available for this position. **About Buildings + Places** AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice integrates architecture, interiors, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, workplace strategy, urban planning, and landscape architecture to deliver holistic, resilient, and innovative solutions.
