DescriptionMACC is seeking candidates interested in teaching as a part-time Accounting instructor (adjunct faculty). These positions are contracted for a semester with pay on a per credit hour basis.Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years.A Master's degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred.The application packet must include a cover letter, resume/curriculum vitae, up-to-date graduate and undergraduate transcripts, which should all be uploaded with the application when applying.Course descriptions of the classes are available at: <a href="http://www.macc.edu/index.php/programs/course-descriptions" rel="nofollow">http://www.macc.edu/index.php/programs/course-descriptions</a>Qualifications<ul><li>Master's degree in related field required</li><li>Minimum of 18 graduate hours in the subject area</li><li>Teaching experience preferred</li></ul>Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Teach classes assigned by the administration which could include, but are not restricted to, day, evening, dual credit, distance education, or any campus location;</li><li>Provide effective instruction that encompasses active and meaningful learning activities and frequent and timely feedback to students regarding their progress;</li><li>Develop course materials/handouts, lectures and labs, and update regularly to ensure relevancy, currency, and alignment with common course syllabus;</li><li>Provide students with a course syllabus which aligns with the common course syllabus and providex information detailing learning expectations, major assignments, and methods of evaluation, and provide a copy of this syllabus to the appropriate dean's office by the second week of each semester;</li><li>Utilize course-adopted textbook(s) and/or course resources;</li><li>Keep adequate course records including grades and attendance and submit required records to the designated office by the established date;</li><li>Maintain three office hours per week (if teaching at least nine credit hours) and provide a copy of office hours to the appropriate dean;</li><li>Follow college-wide student attendance policy and drop non-attending students in a timely manner;</li><li>Refer at-risk students to available support resources and interventions;</li><li>Participate in the development/revision and implementation of program assessment plan as appropriate or as directed and utilize feedback to improve learning outcomes;</li><li>Attend faculty meetings if requested by the dean;</li><li>Check college email regularly and maintain effective communication/contact with students, administrators, lead instructors, faculty colleagues, etc;</li><li>Participate in professional growth activities and service opportunities as appropriate/approved;</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to achieve shared goals and strategic plan priorities;</li><li>Submit updated/current college transcripts to the Human Resources Office, showing all college work earned at both the graduate and undergraduate level, along with all degrees granted;</li><li>Carry out the policies developed by the Board of Trustees as executed and interpreted by the administration; and</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by the appropriate dean, the Vice President for Instruction, or the President.</li></ul>Additional InformationAll full- and part-time faculty report to the Dean of Academic Affairs or the Dean of Workforce Development and Technical Education as appropriate.

The Account Manager plays a key role in supporting property operations, leasing success, financial performance, and resident satisfaction.<hr/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Leadership & Team Support<ul><li>Support the General Manager in building a high-performing, motivated, and professional team.</li><li>Contribute to a positive, collaborative office environment that delivers exceptional customer service to prospects and residents.</li><li>Help implement and improve systems, procedures, and standards to enhance operational efficiency and reduce expenses.</li><li>Maintain open and effective communication with the General Manager to support smooth property operations.</li><li>Assist with any additional duties as needed to support the team and property success.</li></ul><h4>Property Administration</h4><ul><li>Support efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with the school, community organizations, and local businesses.</li><li>Participate in local outreach efforts, including on-campus and community events, to boost awareness and leasing performance.</li><li>Collaborate with the Leasing Manager and team to ensure all marketing opportunities are fully leveraged.</li><li>Assist in keeping all marketing materials, websites, and listings accurate, professional, and up to date.</li></ul><h4>Financial Performance</h4><ul><li>Maintain property occupancy at or above 99% and ensure collections are at or above 98% of potential income.</li><li>Support NOI goals through diligent cost control, income generation efforts, and strong budget oversight.</li><li>Oversee collections and ensure delinquencies remain below 2% of total income. </li><li>Maintain accurate resident ledgers and ensure all financial transactions are correctly reflected in property management software (e.g., Entrata).</li><li>Process leases, perform regular audits, and manage vendor payments and accounts payable to ensure accurate billing and property compliance.</li></ul><h4>Customer Experience & Sales</h4><ul><li>Provide first-class service to residents, prospects, parents, and community partners.</li><li>Promote a welcoming, professional office environment that reflects the CL&S brand and values.</li><li>Actively network with university officials, student organizations, and local stakeholders to strengthen community partnerships.</li><li>Support the leasing team in showing and leasing apartments.</li><li>Help the team stay informed on market trends and competitors to maintain an edge in the local market.</li></ul>The activities listed above may not be all inclusive.
