TASKS: Maintains and repairs buses, vehicles and equipment; repairs brakes, air conditioners, transmissions, engines, radiators, fuel systems, wheel chair lifts and restraints, tractors, mowers and other equipment; replaces windows; assures buses are working properly and ready for routes; may need to perform jump starts, brake adjustments, change light bulbs and repair tires before buses can be used in the morning. Completes paperwork and work order slips; cleans and secures surrounding work area; responds to emergency calls or requests; inspects buses, vehicles and equipment and performs preventative maintenance; and performs related duties as assigned.
