Your responsibilities will include:Daily Operations:<ul><li>Conduct daily safety checks of your delivery vehicle and report needed repairs</li><li>Review your manifest, load your truck, and make safe, efficient deliveries in compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies</li><li>Use established delivery standards focused on safety, customer service, and productivity</li></ul>Customer Service and Communication:<ul><li>Interact professionally with customers, maintaining respect for their property</li><li>Communicate proactively with dispatchers and routing specialists, reporting customer concerns or delivery obstacles</li><li>Participate actively in team huddles and maintain a neat, professional appearance</li></ul>Technical and On Call Responsibilities:<ul><li>Use the Raven handheld device effectively</li><li>Prime furnaces, perform leak tests, and light pilots for out-of-fuel customers (oil/propane)</li><li>Take part in night and weekend on-call rotations</li><li>Keep your delivery truck organized and stocked with tools and safety gear</li></ul>Team Collaboration:<ul><li>Support other departments when needed through cross-training</li><li>Perform additional duties assigned to support operations</li></ul>What You Bring:<ul><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Experience: At least 21 years old; one year of prior truck-driving experience preferred</li><li>Licensing: Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement is part of training</li><li>CETP certification required for propane delivery</li><li>Apprentice oil-burner license required for oil delivery with furnace priming</li><li>Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment/random drug testing</li><li>Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Work outdoors in all weather conditions (from below zero to above 90°F)</li><li>Exposure to petroleum fumes, truck/pump noise, and vibration</li><li>Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, handling, and communication</li><li>Ability to pull a delivery hose weighing up to 75 lbs. for up to 150 feet—about 30 times per day</li><li>Occasionally lift or help move items over 75 lbs.</li></ul>How You'll Succeed:You make safety your priority, communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy working in a hands-on, customer-focused environment.
