Qualifications Profile Certification/License: - NJ - State Certification as a Special Education Teacher/Teacher of Students with Disabilities and K-6 Certificate - The candidate must possess and utilizes positive behavioral supports to increase positive behaviors and decrease negative behaviors of students with behavioral and/or emotional challenges, monitor and collect student behavioral data, teach and model appropriate classroom behaviors and expectations, assist in the development of behavior implementation plans (BIP's), support students with de-escalation and promote self-regulation skills, and work collaboratively with the BCBA, classroom paraprofessional(s), and child study team.
