The Student Worker in our campus dining facility at Norfolk State University is an essential team member responsible for various tasks in the food service operation. This role involves food preparation, customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience for students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Prepare menu items following recipes and portion sizes for consistent quality and timely service.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns.</li><li>Maintain dining, kitchen, and serving area cleanliness following safety standards.</li><li>Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking supplies and equipment.</li><li>Follow food safety and health regulations and cooperate with team members to ensure smooth dining operations.</li></ul>

Qualifications:

Please note: Drivers are considered independent contractors, which means that you'll have to set aside money for income taxes, Social Security, and Medicare. As a Student Transportation Driver at FAMCO Logistics, you will be paid $28 per ride, you can easily make $100+ depending on the number of routes worked.

This position starts at $28 a ride (not per passenger) Company: FAMCO Logistics VA Location: Portsmouth, VAPosition: Student Transportation Driver Type: Independent Contracting JobRequirements:<ul><li>Must have a valid driver's license. </li><li>Must have a 4-door vehicle.</li><li>A driver's vehicle can be no more than 15 years old.</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>Must pass a comprehensive background check.</li><li>Must pass a 12-panel drug test.</li><li>Must have valid insurance.</li><li>Must have valid registration.</li><li>Must pass a vehicle inspection.</li><li>Must have no more than 3 points on their driving record.</li></ul>Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Each driver will receive at least 2 rides per day. One morning ride (picking students up from school) and one afternoon ride (dropping students off at home). </li><li>Drivers will transport up to 3 students at a time. </li><li>Each driver will pick up the same student(s) in the morning and drop the same student(s) off in the afternoon. </li><li>Morning pick-up times range between 6 AM and 9:30 AM. Afternoon pick-up times range from 1PM- 4PM. </li><li>The driver is responsible for transporting his/her passengers safely and in a timely manner by following our policies and procedures. </li></ul>Compensation:As a Student Transportation Driver at FAMCO Logistics, you will be paid $28 per ride, you can easily make $100+ depending on the number of routes worked. If you're a responsible and caring individual who enjoys driving and wants to contribute to the education and safety of students, we encourage you to apply.
