p>Location: Chicago, Illinois\n \nBusiness Unit: Rush Medical Center\n \nHospital: Rush University Medical Center\n \nDepartment: REACH\n \nWork Type: Part Time (Total FTE between 0.5 and 0.89)\n \nShift: Shift 1\n \nWork Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 4:30:00 PM)\n \nRush offers exceptional rewards and benefits learn more at our Rush benefits page (https://www.rush.edu/rush-careers/employee-benefits).\n \nPay Range: $16.20 per hour\n \nRush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. \nResponsibilities:\n\n Medical Center Engineering: Students assist department staff as they operate, maintain, repair, inspect and upgrade/improve all of the Medical Center buildings and the related systems/equipment, for example: Electrical systems, Carpentry, Painting, HVAC, Plumbing, Inventory Control, etc.\n Clinical Engineering: Students assist department staff with proper management of diagnostic, therapeutic, and life support equipment, including: new equipment inventory and safety test; maintain device histories of individual pieces of equipment; repair and scheduled maintenance of all patient diagnostic, therapeutic, and life support equipment here at Rush.
Covista is the parent company of American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Chamberlain University, Ross University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and Walden University. Ability to work closely with external vendors and internal users in project execution (development and implementation), including resolution of issues, capture of further requirements adhering to SDLC gates and risk identification/ management.
