Job ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of the Manager of Student Services are to lead, progress monitor, and support Multilingual Coordinators, Case Managers/Deans of Student Services, campus staff, and Principals as they collectively aim to tackle: Meeting Multilingual and Special Education compliance metrics that support Charter Renewal and compliance with ISBE, CPS, and Federal law. Ongoing advocacy and development, including direct involvement in professional development and building campus expertise through Network and Campus-specific trainings, in addition to advocacy for our MLs and students with diverse needs, and supporting Noble’s anti-racist commitments.
Special Education Teachers will provide guidance to ensure that Teaching Assistants are implementing the Individualized Education Plans for students throughout their school day in general education classes, small group instruction, hallway transitions, lunch, recess and activities of daily living (e.g. Faith's Law: Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if they have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, been asked to resign, or were disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct.
