Your expertise will help prepare the next generation of compassionate, skilled practical nurses. This position is available at both our Williamsport and Wellsboro locations. Qualifications:
EDUCATION<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred</li><li>Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred</li></ul>LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS<ul><li>RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current Pennsylvania RN license. Required</li></ul>EXPERIENCE<ul><li>One (1) year of clinical nursing experience within two years of employment. Required</li><li>Relevant teaching experience on the secondary or post secondary level. <ul><li>Provide non-credit classroom and/or clinical instruction in the clock-hour practical nursing program.</li><li>Identify student performance problems as they surface and consult with staff for resolution of the problem.</li><li>Assist the student to benefit from adequate clinical experience by offering effective supervision and instruction in the clinical area.</li><li>Assist other non-credit instructors and school administrators with laboratory development, coordination, and maintenance.</li><li>Provide feedback to students and complete program evaluations.</li><li>Maintain daily attendance records.</li><li>Secure materials needed for instruction.</li><li>Develop lesson plans; prepare assignments, supplemental teaching materials, sample tests, etc.</li><li>Must comply with policies and procedures of clinical sites where instructing students.</li><li>Attend a minimum of one nursing program meeting per level.</li><li>Attend clinical facility orientations and updates as required by those facilities.</li></ul>
