As a Student Nurse, a typical day may include: Answers call lights and assist patients promptly and courteously, Contributes to the unit s overall patient satisfaction score by doing regular rounding, escalation of complaints and providing service recovery, Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, Help patients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and repositioning, Support meal assistance and observe dietary restrictions as directed, Monitor and document basic vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration, as instructed, Promptly report to the RN any abnormal readings or patient observations identified while performing tasks delegated by the RN, Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas, Provide emotional support, listen to patient concerns, and communicate observations to nursing staff, Help with stocking supplies and preparing rooms for admissions and discharges, Blood Glucose Sampling, if applicable, This role might be for you if: Thriving in a fast-paced environment energizes you, especially in providing hands on care to our most vulnerable in an impactful way.
