Job Overview: Collects and processes specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Performs clerical duties including registration, collection and review of billing information, data entry, ordering tests, diagnosis entry, retrieval and distribution of results. Maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements. Demonstrates competence in care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Maintains the Mission and Values of the Crossroads Community Hospital. Teaches new employees and students laboratory policies and procedures. Assists as needed in all laboratory areas as required to maintain appropriate patient care. Perform waived and moderately complex testing after documented training under the supervision of a qualified technologist. Results will be reviewed and reported by the supervising technologist. Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy or laboratory experience preferred Compensation: Hourly Range $17.00-$25.50 Bonus: Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Their responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, arranging the operating room with necessary supplies, and ensuring a sterile environment to prevent infections. They assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, and other materials during surgery, and they may also help with patient positioning and monitoring vital signs. Surgical Techs are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of surgical instruments and equipment, and they must stay up-to-date with surgical techniques and protocols. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential in this fast-paced, critical role. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Graduate of a School of Operating Room Technicians - Enrolled into a Surgical/RN program.
