The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist and Deputy Division Chief with functional responsibilities as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (DCISO), providing leadership and supervision of subordinate staff, evaluating work requirements, assigning and prioritizing work assignments, motivating employees, taking necessary personnel actions to achieve and maintain an acceptable level of work quality and employee performance, and managing the technical, administrative, and programmatic activities of the division to ensure that information systems and services meet the organizations cybersecurity and risk management requirements. Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as: 1) Ensuring information systems complied with federal cybersecurity laws, policies, and frameworks, including FISMA and NIST, to protect government IT systems and safeguard personal, private, controlled unclassified, proprietary, Privacy Act, and FOIA-exempt information from unauthorized disclosure.
