There are different ways to become a SWO. If you're a high school student or an undergraduate, you can enter through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) or through the U.S. Naval Academy.Those already having a degree attend Officer Candidate School (OCS), a 12-week Navy school in Newport, R.I.To be an eligible candidate, you must:

Located in one of the most charming small cities in the south, we enjoy small town life within 30 minutes of Atlanta.</div><div> Our main office is located on the hospital campus and satellite offices are close by. Epic EMR in office and hospital. Reading ultrasounds is a plus; we document using FujiPACs in our office. Perform minor gynecologic surgical procedures in the office. Our affiliated hospital is in the Piedmont Healthcare System and has a da Vinci robot, level III NICU, access to medical and subspecialty care, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage. Currently delivering 65 babies monthly with a goal of 100. Call is 1:5, with an experienced CNM, providing the potential for a wonderful work/life balance and excellent professional opportunities.
