Knowledge of and/or experience integrating culturally responsive, anti-racist, LGBTQ+-affirming, and other equity-minded practices into professional practice to create inclusive and affirming learning environments, reduce barriers to participation, and support the belonging and success of historically underserved and marginalized students. The DVC Library regularly develops programming and activities that celebrate, recognize, and engage our diverse campus community, including Black History Month, Disability Awareness Month, Pride Month, and other cultural, historical, and community-focused observances.
