While performing the duties of this job, a Conference staff member is regularly required to: • Effectively communicate and give directions • Read documents such as policy and procedure manuals • Prepare reports and correspondences • Use a Master key system • Respond to duty situations according to University protocol • Work without continuous supervision • Meet deadlines set by the coordinator • Respond immediately to issues and concerns of conferences • Attend weekly staff meetings • Perform check-ins and check-outs for summer conference groups, summer housing students, and fall residents • Prepare, distribute, and wash linen packets • Complete Room inventories and inspections • Serve night and weekend duty on a rotating system • Provide housekeeping services when needed • Move laundry from various buildings. Conference Staff members provide support to these conferences with customer service assignment, processing an on-call duty rotation, facilities management, laundry, administrative tasks, and other duties as determined to support summer operations of University Housing.
