Certification in Radiological Technology, issued by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists, is required to be obtained within six (6) months of placement in position if hired after 8/1/2025, or twelve (12) months if hired between 1/1/2024 and 7/31/2025, or eighteen (18) months if hired prior to 1/1/2024. Performs all routine diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through patient positioning, technique selection, administration of contrast media and application of immobilization and radiation protection devices as established by LG protocols, policies and procedures.
