Work is performed in a design and fabrication workshop and in an indoor office environment with moderate exposure to hazardous physical conditions (such as mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibration, etc.); moderate exposure to atmospheric conditions (such as fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, etc.); moderate exposure to hazardous materials (such as chemicals, blood or other body fluids); moderate exposure to environmental conditions (such as disruptive people, imminent danger, or threatening environment); and moderate exposure to extreme temperatures or intense noise. Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of experience such as providing assistance to students in an instructional setting; and/or preparing, maintaining and delivering equipment, supplies or other related instructional materials used for laboratory activities in area of assignment.
