Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility: Students will be able to: 1) Analyze how dimensions of human diversity (e.g., race, sex, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, class, national origin, citizenship, etc.) shape political attitudes, participation, and outcome, 2) Evaluate the empirical and normative implications of government actions that affect these dynamics, and 3) Assess the conceptual and definitional challenges involved in studying human diversity. The department's undergraduate learning outcomes align with the goals of the University's Strategic Plan ( https://www.bridgew.edu/the-university/strategic-plan-2/strategic-priorities ) and provide for a teaching and learning environment characterized by intellectual, creative, and professional growth.
