 $23.00/Hour | Armed School Security Officer | Monday–Friday Daylight Schedule Location: Duncannon Company: KRE Security, LLC KRE Security, LLC is seeking reliable, consistent, and high-caliber Armed School Security Officers for a school district in Duncannon, PA. This position provides coverage across three separate school buildings and offers a stable weekday schedule, long-term placement, and year-round earning opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced armed security professionals, veterans, retired law enforcement, or individuals seeking a professional school security environment with steady hours and no overnight shifts. Position Details <ul><li> Starting pay: $23.00 per hour</li><li> Monday–Friday schedule </li><li> 8.5-hour daylight shifts </li><li> No overnight shifts </li><li> Position starts in September </li><li> Coverage across three school buildings </li><li> Overtime opportunities available for sports, extracurricular activities, and school events </li><li> Full-time school-year placement with additional summer and per diem opportunities available when school is out </li></ul>Responsibilities <ul><li> Maintain a safe and secure school environment </li><li> Conduct patrols of school property and grounds </li><li> Respond to emergencies and security incidents </li><li> Monitor entrances, visitors, and access control </li><li> Build positive working relationships with school staff and administration </li><li> Complete reports and required documentation professionally </li><li> Coordinate with school officials and emergency responders when necessary </li></ul>What We’re Looking For We are looking for dependable professionals who: <ul><li> Show up consistently and take pride in their work </li><li> Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor </li><li> Communicate effectively with staff, students, and visitors </li><li> Can work independently and make sound decisions </li><li> Understand the importance of protecting schools and communities </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li> Act 235 Certification preferred or ability to obtain </li><li> Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security experience preferred </li><li> Veterans and prior law enforcement strongly encouraged to apply </li><li> Clean criminal background and ability to pass required screenings </li></ul>Benefits <ul><li> Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li> Employee contribution approximately $45 per paycheck </li><li> PTO accrual begins after 60-day probationary period </li><li> Pay increases available with contract renewals </li><li> Military differential available </li><li> Opportunities for additional assignments and summer work </li></ul>Join a team committed to protecting students and schools while offering stable hours, long-term placement, and consistent earning opportunities throughout the year.
