Must hold a current, unrestricted Texas license as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and maintain the license in good standing with BHEC as a condition of continued employment. Under the leadership of the Director of Student Counseling Services (SCS), the Professional Counselor provides specialized clinical mental health services to students through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, risk assessment, consultation, outreach, case management, and care coordination.
