Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, computational and AI-enabled bioengineering, digital twins and patient-specific modeling, wearable and implantable devices, rehabilitation technologies, assistive robotics, bioelectronic and neural interfaces, regenerative and mechano-therapeutic engineering, computational biomechanics and mechanobiology, sensing and control, and emerging translational health technologies. Individuals conducting research in critical infrastructure areas (i.e., communication infrastructure systems, cybersecurity systems, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment systems, and/or water treatment facilities) are subject to regular review to ensure the security and integrity of the research is maintained.
