Role Overview: This position must have knowledge of SONET ring transport designs, Knowledge of DWDM transport designs, complete design and implementation of all system components (e.g., Ciena, Cisco, & Fujitsu SONET rings, Ciena, Nokia, Adva, or Cisco DWDM (Flex and Fix Grid) backbones, and Nokia, Ciena, & Cisco Carrier Ethernet systems deployments). Required Qualifications: Must have associate degree and a minimum of 3 years of networking experience or no degree with a minimum of 5 years of networking experience (networking experience includes areas such as support, engineering, provisioning, etc.).
