Beyond musical instruction, the Director is responsible for complex logistical management, including coordinating student and equipment transportation (busing), supervising specialized instructional staff, maintaining uniform and instrument inventories, and managing the program budget. Primary responsibilities include designing and teaching competitive field shows, managing rigorous rehearsal schedulesincluding summer band camps and after-school practicesand directing performances at all football games, parades, and regional competitions.
