The City of Conroe seeks an experienced attorney representing governmental entities concerning municipal procurement, contracts, Public Information Act matters, planning and development matters, and other municipal legal items; preparing, tracking and analyzing contracts, ordinances, resolutions and other legal instruments; providing legal advice and opinions to the City Council, Staff and Boards and Commissions and attending evening meetings as required. This Assistant City Attorney will assist the City Attorney, with minimal supervision, in performing technical and professional work as legal advisor to the City Council, City Administrator, department directors and managers on assigned issues of applicable local, State and Federal laws, regulations and ordinances affecting the City.
