The right person for this role has extensive defense supply chain knowledge, has developed SOPs and implemented them under FAR/DFARS guidelines, has implemented or improved ERP/WMS with government property tracking integrations, and has a proven track record of managing expensive, federally owned inventory. Implement End-to-End material management measures, including FIFO adherence, material variances, cycle time optimization, scrap/obsolescence/disposal management (via PCARSS/eTools), cycle/physical counting, and DCMA/internal audits, to ensure 100% inventory accuracy and mitigate stockouts or overstocking.
