Leads a cross-functional business teams (such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and the PLM for Precision Optics) to develop and execute growth, performance improvement, and cost-reduction strategies (and works closely with market intelligence, marcomm, legal, IP, and HR as needed): Own the product lifecycle management of a subset of Precision Optics products-including portfolio strategy, revenue and demand forecasting, commercialization, and phase-out decisions. By leveraging deep commercial acumen, technical understanding, and cross-functional leadership skills, the PLM ensures that Corning's Precision Optics offerings in these segments are well-positioned for growth, revenue success, and market differentiation.
