Essential Job Duties: • Demonstrates knowledge of the step-by-step progress of specific endoscopy procedures for all surgical services • Anticipates physician's needs in regard to instrumentation and supplies, etc • Displays dexterity in the use of the required instrumentation according to technique, procedure and special requirements • Demonstrates ability to function in endoscopy situations • Anticipates instrumentation/equipment for a wide range of simple and complex endoscopy procedures • Pulls appropriate instrumentation and supplies consistent with physician's preference • Endoscopy environment is set up and organized prior to patient's arrival into room • Utilizes clean and aseptic technique.
