The APP works collaboratively with ACS surgeons to evaluate and manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients, coordinate admissions, respond to consults, facilitate patient throughput, and provide continuous clinical coverage to support a high-performing, patient-centered ACS service. Anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown, the Health System includes more than 20 member hospitals that collectively serve a multi-state region that includes West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
