Job DescriptionThe Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine, in partnership with Jackson Health System, seeks a highly skilled Craniofacial/Pediatric Plastic Surgeon to join our esteemed program as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery.
Clinical Care (75%): Provide exceptional clinical care at Jackson Health System, including:
Pediatric craniofacial surgery, including cleft lip/palate repair, craniosynostosis, and vascular malformation management at Holtz Children’s Hospital.
The Division Chief will develop a vision and strategic direction for the Division of Surgical Oncology, and provide leadership, supervision, and accountability to fulfill the administrative, clinical, educational, and research missions of the DeWitt Daughty Department of Surgery and UHealth.
Pediatric & Congenital Cardiac Surgery:
Performs the complete scope of surgical services, including consultations and surgical care for congenital heart problems, including a wide spectrum of defects in newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Examples of heart operations include arterial switch, Norwood operations, closure of septal defects, repair of tetralogy of Fallot, staged palliation of single ventricle defects including Fontan Procedures, heart rhythm disorders, complex defects, ECMO/VAD, and transplantation.
