Surgical Tech - Day shift with possible night shift rotation Neuro Surgery- Anterior cervical fusion, Cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Insertion of VP shunt, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Kyphoplasty Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT)- Endoscopic sinus procedures *, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty,, Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy Laparoscopic assisted cases * There is a possibility for off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, but there are a lot of times there is no off-shifting Bi-Weekly Orientation - 6/1, 6/15, 6/29 Weeknight call requirements (1-2 nights/week on average) Weekend call required (every 4-5 weekends on average) ***Block schedule CANNOT be accommodated*** 30 rooms, 60-80 cases per day 2 years of Surg Tech experience required Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred BLS required First time travelers NOT accepted Experience with General Surgery, Endo/Laparoscopic, Bariatrics, Neuro required Experience with Oncology and Ortho procedures highly preferred DaVinci experience highly preferred Scrubs provided by facility Nebraska Medical Center - Nebraska Medical Center (NMC) is the No. 1 rated hospital in the Omaha metro area and the state of Nebraska.
