Field tasks may include fisheries management, wildlife food plot establishment and maintenance, game bird population and habitat surveys, white-tailed deer population monitoring and deer check station operations, forest habitat assessments and prescription development, invasive species management, and collection, management, and reporting of project data. Conducts wildlife and habitat monitoring and management activities, including establishment and maintenance of wildlife food plots, game bird population surveys (e.g., whistle counts, gobbler counts, and covey censuses), white-tailed deer monitoring, and habitat assessments to support forest prescription development and wildlife management objectives.
