Bachelor of Science (BS) or Associates Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent required • 6 years of experience minimum required in the Surveying and Construction Industry • Land Surveyor (LS) or equivalent required • Advanced knowledge of land surveying operations, computations, principles and practices • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering plans and construction documents • Knowledge and ability to deal with public and governmental agencies, manage field crews, and schedule equipment and supplies • Proficient in on-site office operation, office workflow processes and problem-solving techniques • Advanced understanding of office workflow processes and problem-solving techniques • Advanced understanding of survey operations and identification of potential problems • Proficient with AutoCAD C3D, survey, GPS, MS Office software • Problem solving techniques • Possesses oral and written communication skills • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, officials, contractors, coworkers and professionally represent IMEG • Valid drivers license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier; must consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays. • IMEGs survey group includes 100+ professionals (including licensed surveyors) delivering responsive, reliable surveying solutions.
