Learn and know names of block product to include sizes and color detailsRecognize block product for good/bad qualityLearn and understand cubing patterns and block per pallet quantitiesLearn and understand the controls and proper operation of the cuber, splitter and depalleterAssist with operating the cuber, splitter and depalleter in a safe manner and report any problems with equipment to supervisor or Machine Operator immediatelyLearn and understand how to change the wrap on each wrapper machine and how to properly start and stop the wrapper machines including Lock-Out/Tag-Out proceduresKnowledge of yard and specific product designated areas within the yard for stocking placementKnowledge of pallet tags and the information provided on them in addition to placement of pallet tags on products prior to stocking product into the yardAbility to work in sync with the production line and keeping product clear and moving off the lineMaintain cleanliness around outside lines and wrapper room areasAssist Machine Operator with all duties or needs that are requestedAbility to properly complete Basalite reportsCompletion of daily pre-shift inspections on forklift and reporting of all problems to the supervisor immediatelyKnowledge of all Safety procedures and Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures for all pieces of equipmentMust demonstrate how to properly drive forklift in all weather conditions and terrainMust demonstrate how to properly handle loads, including stacking properly and in straight linesMust pass forklift test on rules and proceduresKnowledge of general maintenance for forklift such as filling fluids and greasing forkliftMust keep forklift clean inside and outsideMust be able to read and use a tape measureMust be able to physically stack and flip blockAll other duties and responsibilities assigned by company or its designated representativesAttends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
