Conducts engineering reviews and evaluates, remedial action plans (RAPs), RAP modifications, pilot test proposals and other engineering documents pertaining to the cleanup of petroleum contamination in groundwater and soil for their technical adequacy, compatibility with contaminants and conditions of contaminated sites, compliance with applicable Florida Administrative Codes, and cost effectiveness. Performs work involving the review, coordination, and processing of development applications as related to civil engineering design, with appropriate environmental considerations, for roadway design, traffic operations, drainage systems, water quality, stormwater management, wetlands, and flood prone areas to ensure compliance and consistency with the Seminole County Land Development Code and Comprehensive Plan.
