St. Joseph Catholic Academy is a faith-filled community dedicated to forming students in academic excellence, strong character, and a deep commitment to serving others; we are seeking a Music teacher (PK-5) who will also be our Band and Choir teacher (6-8) who plans, guides, and evaluates student learning, reporting to the principal and exercising decision-making within the framework of the school's policies, philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about teaching Music, building the Band, developing ensembles, works with colleagues and Musical Liturgy within the Mass, and is committed to fostering a dynamic classroom environment which encourages participation, builds a sense of belonging, and holds high expectations for the success and growth of each student.
