The Retail Zone Team Leader oversees a team that is passionate about merchandising and selling merchandise, as well as ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include all aspects of merchandising, and customer service oversight.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Execute established procedures for assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.</li><li>Ensure that store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.</li><li>Oversee process to ensure that merchandise is planned for and received, and that the sales floor is properly stocked.</li><li>Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor while driving associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer service standards.</li><li>Supervise associates within the assigned zone, communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.</li><li>Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.</li><li>Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.</li><li>Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.</li></ul>Ollie's is an equal opportunity employer.
