Troubleshoot, repair, test, and install all types of instrument and electronic equipment including but not limited to: computers, audio/video, x-ray equipment, laser, fiber optic, radio/communication, networking, scientific equipment, vacuum, numerically controlled equipment, alarm systems, Delta Control Systems, programmable logic controllers, pneumatic air handling systems, gauges, relief valves, transmitters, scales, control valves, and other miscellaneous machinery. Three years' experience in the maintenance and repair of similar instrument or electronic equipment as stated in the paragraph above plus an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Electronic Technology or Instrumentation and Control from an accredited college, or training equivalent to the two years (AA degree) college requirement gained by taking courses acceptable to crafts supervision from a recognized trade school (Military schools included).
