Responsibilities: 1.Assists in the delivery of patient care as a nursing team member by performing, in a prompt and appropriate manner, specific and nonspecific patient care tasks as directed by the nurse in charge, including (but not limited to) transport of patients as needed and assisting patients with activities of daily living. Summary: Performs specific patient care activities and non-professional services (under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse), necessary to meet personal, physical and emotional needs of the population served, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient and family, consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Medical Center Administration.
