PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are typical to that of the field environment, and are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: • Ability to climb vessel ladders and work at heights up to 25 feet • Must be able to walk, stand, and otherwise navigate uneven rural terrain • This position requires walking or standing for extended periods in all types of terrain and working in environments of extreme temperatures (heat, cold, dust, etc.) • Must be able to manually open and close valves and other equipment • Must be able to use pipe wrenches and other applicable oilfield related tools • Exposure to loud noise, occupational hazards, or outdoor elements • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and walkways associated with oilfield environment • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear • The employee frequently is required to use hands along with fingers, to type, squeeze, handle or feel materials • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Performs maintenance which includes routine calibration, and functional testing of process instruments and devices, documentation of calibration data collected during inspections utilizing the remote monitoring system, verification of data communication systems that provide real time process and alarm information to operators and administrators.
