The role owns and defines the technology strategy and project management for infrastructure, cybersecurity, communications platforms, and systems architecture (network, servers, backups, email, internet, telephony) as well as the teams, vendors, and processes needed to sustain a well-performing, integrated technology infrastructure landscape. The Director of Technology Infrastructure & Systems will be the designated individual responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s security policies and procedures under the HIPAA Security Rule and will work closely with the Privacy Officer to coordinate HIPAA and privacy workforce training, incident and breach response, and contingency planning .
