The Staff Accountant supports the Corporate Accounting Department in various tasks related to the monthly accounting close process including the analysis of financial performance of various TV stations, preparing monthly journal entries, Accounts Payable processing for the Digital business, complying with monthly internal SOX controls, and other accounting functions to assist with the monthly close process. Physical Demands & Work Environment: The Staff Accountant must be able to sit, reach, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions.
