Mechanical aptitude and ability to accomplish the following: - Competence in reading blueprints, schematics, micrometers, and indicators; - Overall understanding of machine function; fits/alignments; CNC operation; and technical, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude; - Familiarity with machine shop operations, tool crib, bench work, assembly, gauges, pumps, tubing, and wiring; - Ability to use lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders. - Complete required paperwork in a timely manner including marking up prints with corrections and writing up customer contact reports promptly.
