Additional Details: On-Call Required How you Will make a Difference: <ul><li>Develop and implement job skills training, in-service education as required by regulations and employee health monitoring for the nursing department employees. </li><li>Regularly check the competency of C.N.A. skill performance, positive regard for residents, and developmental needs of direct care staff. Provide one on one (1:1) instruction immediately, if necessary. </li><li>Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area noted above before allowing the nursing assistant to perform the task with a resident. </li></ul> What you Need to make a Difference: <ul><li>Registered Nurse with required current state licensure. </li><li>Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred. </li><li>Must have a current/active CPR certification. </li><li>Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. </li></ul> Our exceptional Benefits Package and Signature Perks include the following and more! Trainers provide knowledge for general warehouse safety, food safety and all equipment training needs, as well as learning tools and exercises to assist the trainees. This facilitates compliance with standard practices and safe forklift and pallet jack operation to better serve the banner’s needs.  Position Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-bottom:13px"><li>Safety trainers must always lead by example adhering to all warehouse safety rules and policies.  Safety Trainers are also expected to coach and correct associates in the moment if unsafe behaviors are observed.</li><li>Responsible for following all safety training protocols and procedures and instructing new hires, as well as associates being recertified on forklifts and pallet jacks. </li><li>Coordinate group training and instruction on powered industrial equipment.</li><li>Maintain training records in accordance with Delhaize America safety training program.</li><li>This position requires interaction with associates and members of management daily. </li><li>Continuously strive to make our workplace safer and make recommendations based on observations and/or concerns.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:<ul style="margin-bottom:13px"><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to motivate peers to follow all safety guidelines</li><li>Ability to keep training on schedule and maintain consistent results</li><li>Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)</li><li>Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes</li><li>Highly motivated self-starter and team player with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Detail oriented</li></ul>Advanced Qualifications:<ul style="margin-bottom:13px"><li>Strong leadership, analytical, written and verbal skills</li><li>Proficient knowledge of MS office</li><li>Strong track record of developing others</li><li>2 – 3 years leadership experience</li><li>College degree or equivalent</li></ul>Key Challenges:<ul style="margin-bottom:13px"><li>Maintain standard practice documents and provide extensive training to category shared service associates to better serve our banners’ and consumer’ needs.</li><li>Motivate and inspire trainees to follow the example of safe equipment operation and recognize when trainees are struggling to grasp key concepts. </li><li>Adhere to the training program and coordinate training sessions which will align training needs with category shared service goals.</li></ul> null Job Requisition: 357930_external_USA-NC-Butner_1252024
