Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of basic aircraft maintenance procedures, aircraft system theory, common test equipment, common tool usage, technical orders, automated maintenance management systems, safety, security, management and maintenance directives; knowledge of a wide range of principles and practical methods, techniques and tools of instructions to teach a variety of students with a range of differences such as diverse ages, backgrounds, and levels of interest. To comply with this directive, all faculty members of the Community College of the Air Force must meet minimum educational requirements as prescribed by the accrediting body Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC), i.e. all teachers must hold at least an associates degree in order for the school to meet accreditation criteria.
