Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of operating room experience; current state nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); experience with preoperative and postoperative procedures, phase II recovery, orthopedic and spine surgery, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, conscious sedation, nerve blocks, medication reconciliation, pain assessment and management, discharge instructions, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, and operative or procedural consent. Preferred Qualifications: Ambulatory or outpatient operating room experience; experience with orthopedic, total joint, neuro, spine, podiatry, or general procedures; experience with monitored anesthesia care, pre-admission testing, preoperative assessment and education, malignant hyperthermia protocols, reversal agents, spinal procedures, and arthroscopy.
