Responsibilities include interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube care and management, pre/post hemodialysis management, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, heparin protocols, managing cardiac drips (no titration), PCA, thrombolytic agents, substance withdrawal, ortho trauma, traction, nasal cannula, oxygen fact masks, portable oxygen tank, and isolation precautions.
