Skills required: Vent management, airway management, high flow O2, chest tubes, peripheral IV starts/maintenance, wound care/dressing changes, wound vacs, drains (JP, hemovacs), nephrostomy tubes, pain management, PCA, central line management, cardiac rhythm interpretation. Intensive Care (combined with PCU 10 beds): Vents, Sepsis, Respiratory failure, No Neuro on this unit, no cardiac patients requiring intervention (patients needing Cath lab will go to Sister Facility).
