Environmental Factors: Performance of essential functions may require exposure to such adverse environmental conditions as high pressure gas & water lines, fiber optic cables, insects, poisonous plants, animals, dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, traffic hazards, toxic agents and chemicals, electric currents, disease, raw sewage, blood, or pathogenic substances. Performs pre-trip inspection to ensure safe operations of trucks and equipment per regulations; performs routine maintenance on trucks such as cleaning, checking tires, and maintaining fluid levels; performs minor repairs or reports malfunctions as appropriate; prepares trucks and equipment for daily assignments.
