On large maintenance projects, the selected candidate will supervise a phase of the project under the general direction of a Highway Maintenance Supervisor 2. HMS 1 is a working supervisor who: Operates light trucks and heavy dump trucks, performs one-person snow plowing, and operates other pieces of highway equipment, as necessary.
