We are currently seeking a Collector / Underwriter to join our team in Dayton!Rewards for Collector / Underwriter:                  <ul><li>Annual compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00</li><li>$22-$25/hour based on experience plus a monthly bonus opportunity</li><li>Full benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k)</li><li>Career growth oppurtunities</li><li>Industry-leading customer program</li><li>Established company with 37 years in business</li><li>Growing national organization   </li></ul> Responsibilities for Collector / Underwriter:                <ul><li>Manage collections activities while maintaining positive customer relations</li><li>Handle inbound and outbound customer communications regarding payment solutions </li><li>Review customer accounts and assist with underwriting and credit decisions </li><li>Evaluate customer information, payment history, and supporting documentation </li><li>Assist with lending and credit origination processes </li><li>Help ensure branch and lending compliance standards are maintained </li><li>Support customer retention efforts through effective communication and problem solving </li><li>Work within consumer finance and underwriting software systems </li><li>Demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism </li><li>Attend ongoing training and development classes </li></ul>Hours for Collector / Underwriter:                <ul><li>Full-time (40 hours per week)</li><li>100% onsite</li><li>No Sundays</li><li>Store hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. </li><li>Shifts will vary based on business needs </li></ul>Requirements for Collectors / Underwriter:                <ul><li>2+ years of experience in collections, underwriting, consumer finance, customer retention, banking, call center, sales, or related fields </li><li>Experience reviewing credit applications or making lending decisions preferred </li><li>Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to work scheduled hours and remain fully onsite </li><li>Ability to pass a background check </li></ul>

Policy Consulting & Servicing <ul><li>Support new business quoting and application processes </li><li>Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements accurately and efficiently </li><li>Review and explain policy documents, declarations pages, and coverage details in clear, plain language </li><li>Support new business quoting and application processes in collaboration with underwriting </li></ul>Billing & Payment Support<ul><li>Assist customers with billing inquiries, payment plan setup, and account reconciliation </li><li>Process payments, issue refunds, and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner </li><li>Communicate upcoming renewals, premium changes, and payment due dates proactively </li></ul>Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Building<ul><li>Deliver a consistently outstanding customer experience across all interactions - phone, email, and chat </li><li>Follow up on open issues and ensure resolution to the customer's satisfaction </li><li>Gather and document customer feedback to surface trends and improvement </li><li>opportunities </li><li>Build long-term relationships with policyholders and agent partners to drive retention and loyalty </li><li>Escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior staff with full context and recommended next steps </li></ul>General Operations<ul><li>Maintain accurate and thorough records of all customer interactions in our CRM system </li><li>Adhere to state insurance regulations, compliance guidelines, and company policies </li><li>Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and quality assurance reviews </li><li>Support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with underwriting, claims, and billing teams </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Property & Casualty insurance license preferred but not required.
